Acts 3:19'Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; '

Repentance is simply the change of mind. The change of mind occurs as something new has been introduced into the mind. The renewal of the mind of man is processed by knowledge, but what man should always remember is that he is knowledge (as we consider that he is the nature of God). So, when he is renewed, he is not renewed to follow, but he is renewed to be.

When one is repenting, he is renewed in his mind so as to receive the kingdom of God; he is renewed to receive something that is within him. When Jesus spoke about seeking first his kingdom and his righteousness, he was proclaiming to man to seek for something that is within him (man).

Jesus said in Matthew 7:22, 'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? '

But the Lord shall deny them! This is because of the race that was run in deception, though they had peace about it but with unclear consciousness of what one is following. This is why John the Baptist denied to baptize Christ but yearned to be baptized by Christ, for John must be renewed into Christ and not Christ to be renewed into John the Baptist. Thus, the scriptures put it this way. Mathew 3:14 'But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? '

This is because John had to be begotten by Christ, and John cannot beget Christ. So, when Christ was preaching repentance to receive the kingdom through the son of God, he was opening the eyes of men to be baptized into him. Adam also repented; hence, he was renewed into the seed of the devil. It follows that the disciple is renewed to be equal to the master; the disciple is not greater than the master, as it is enough for the disciple to be equal to the master.

This is what happened as man was shifted and carried the seed of the serpent, as he was opened his eyes into understanding by Satan. Then he was made into the seed of the master and became equal to him in destruction (this is spiritual death), but as Christ has been revealed, then we have another master, and therefore, we are being renewed into the seed of the master.

This is why it is very important to understand how the new man is being created, as the renewal comes as one has a realization of how he is to be recreated in Christ—it is very important to understand this effectively. We know that we are justified in Christ Jesus, but we have not known how we become justified; hence, we proclaim to be justified while we are totally unjustified.

We claim to be born again but fail to understand what the meaning of being born again is and how a person becomes born again; hence, we stay unborn into the seed of God.

DECREE

“Lord Jesus, I receive your grace and intelligence; I shall never lose the grace, the garment of light I shall always put on.”
