(An introduction)
(Gen 24:63 (KJV) 'And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming. '
Meditation is an ability to travel into the spirit and host thrones and divine entities as your character. Anyone who meditates has accepted to host a certain character in the spirit so that the character can manifest through him. This is what summons the conscious spiritual entity to manifest in the flesh.
Being one of the ways that can summon spiritual entities indicates that this method can position men to have the abilities to host Christ entities. Christ manifests through meditation, not reason; in fact, true knowledge is found in meditation, not reason. Reasoning, however, is one of the elements in meditation—it is not the end in itself; it must be verified by discernment.
...... and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. - This entails that by man becoming a living soul, man knew that he is. Before the breath of life, man was not a living soul, meaning that man had no ability to identify himself in the body (consciousness). Man was unable to think because he was not a soul yet. One may ask, when does meditation begin? I reply that meditation begins when the soul of man has become active. Reasoning and questioning begin to take place automatically.
This happenstance occurs because the same man has been placed in a new environment, and so questions arise as a natural response to a new environment. To Adam, this was a new environment, and therefore questioning is a habit that would be naturally expected. Entering paths of questioning is being introduced into the corridors of meditation.
God knew that such questions would naturally arise in Adam; thus, He showed Adam sources and boundaries of meditation in the world. There is a direct connection between the order of creation and our source of thinking. Our thinking comes from the order of creation; pure order of creation gives forth pure thoughts, whereas impure order of creation gives forth impure thoughts. It is improper to meditate on God from a source that God did not create to be the way it is, i.e., from a source that has been corrupted.
What is the source of your meditation? In Genesis, we have observed pure meditation. Meditation after the fall (after Genesis) came from the reaction to the disorder that happened after sin. Before sin, Adam did not think beyond the pure order of things. Meditation is ministering to oneself through the Holy Spirit. It is ‘becoming’ through the Holy Spirit.
Genesis presents to us the true essence of meditation. As we keep learning here, we will arrive at a state to meditate about God, not situations. When we are meditating from situations, we are bound to err. Our only source of meditation is Christ Jesus.
In our next session, we shall uncover the elements of meditation.
DECREE
