1 John 1:5
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
Learning about light is learning about the message that came from God. Through light, everything is illuminated so it can realize itself. Graciously, allow me to delve into the corridors of Jerusalem and unveil greater truths.
Concerning Jerusalem, it is thus written, “And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.” (Rev 21:12–13). When we are looking at the realms and habitations, there are two things that should be understood. A realm can be a consciousness or a reality (habitation).
To illustrate this, here is an example: Being humans currently, we carry earthen vessels that came from the dust of the earth—we are staying on earth, yet we are the earth. Should we want to exit earth, our vessels must be changed to be equal to the realm we want to exit to. The consciousness of earth is what makes humans to be humans.
Speaking of the city of New Jerusalem is speaking of the Lamb’s wife, i.e., the vessels in the city, because to be in New Jerusalem, we must have fitting vessels required in the city. The church (New Jerusalem) is betrothed to one husband (Christ), and as we seek the truth of the gospel, we are demanding the pure virginity.
This means when Christ comes back, He is not yet unified with the church; the church is being prepared so that it can be a pure virgin to Christ. And because the virginity is pure, then the seal of virginity is present, which is called the “seal of blood,” and whoever breaks the seal unites in the soul, and the two souls become one.
So every teaching intends to purify you so that when you stand before Christ, you will have your pure virginity. The Bible shows that there is a city called the Lamb’s wife, and that city descends from heaven, and it has several entrances. Just like the first man was created on the first earth, lived on earth, and was redeemed on earth, the same man waits to enter the new city, so he will live in that city, and the ingredients that make him are the same ingredients that make up the city.
FURTHER MEDITATION
Revelation 21:9-10 “And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God”
2 Corinthians 11:1-2 “Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”
