Genesis 1:26-27
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Two things are highlighted in the above scripture: image and likeness. Image as used
Here means a certain kind/level of understanding. Within man is God’s image and likeness. God’s image in man is the reality of who Christ is. Christ is the image of God;
It is written in Colossians 1:15, “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:” speaking of man having the image of God, speaking of man having the mark of Christ, for Christ is the image of the invisible God. Christ is within every man (whether a believer or not) through the image of God.
When the image of God within man is activated through knowledge, this person shall
See God, for God lives within him through the image that is Christ. Various religions do not agree on Christ being the only way to God; unknown to them is that the image of God within them was awakened into perfection in Christ Jesus.
The Christ character in man belongs to Jesus. To be a new creature in Christ entails that a person has agreed to Jesus Christ being his tutor and carrying His yoke under His tutelage.
Accepting and receiving Jesus Christ is to agree the image of God within you to be
activated by the image bearer, i.e., Christ. It is possible to activate this image through other agents other than Christ Jesus. These other agents are contrary agents. Every man has access to the spiritual realm, whether through the Holy Spirit or through manipulation of the energy within himself. What gives him this access is the power that is within the image of God in himself.
In Christendom, Christ is within every man because men are created in the image and likeness of God. What the gospel does is to activate Christ’s Light within every man, which is great darkness without the gospel’s activation.

territories inhabited by demons’
