Ephesians 5:13-14 “But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”

Again,

1 Timothy 6:16 “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.”

By principle, it follows that things in the spiritual realm are exposed by light and become light as a result of that exposure. Saint Paul writes interestingly about an unapproachable light, informing us that it is the dwelling place of the immortal one. Now, the unapproachable light cannot be approached by men and creatures of the heavenly realm. In the protocol to reach the throne of God, we learn of the four living creatures, twenty-four elders, seraphim, cherubim, and angels—all these creatures are beholding the light but can neither see what is in the light nor dwell in it. God is the dweller in the unapproachable light; from here light flows forth to creation.

It is written, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light” Gen 1:3. The light The light declared here is from the dwelling of unapproachable light; as the light travelled to earth, it passed through realms and dimensions to earth. As it arrived on earth, the earth became visible and became light. It is at this point proper to understand that it is an unapproachable light that is responsible for the radiance of realms. I said in a previous article that glory is the manifestation of light; also, glory is the distance between the earth and the source of an unapproachable light.

Here is an illustration: the scriptures preserves a testimony in Rev 21:11 that “Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;” As New Jerusalem is descending from heaven, the description is glory; that is, New Jerusalem is having the light of God manifesting as gloryglory, for glory is the manifestation of light.

FURTHER MEDITATION

1 Kings 8:12 “Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.”

Genesis 1:14-16 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”
